SPRING SEASON
Tryouts

- Team tryout dates and times are posted on our website.
- Tryouts are mandatory for new and existing players.
- Team selection process will take place once all tryouts have been completed in November and announced via email.
- Team practices will start in December and consist of 1 day per week for 1.5-2 hours.
- Once the weather breaks in late Winter/early Spring and the fields are playable, a second team practice will be added.

- Once pitchers and catchers start in early March, all Edge practices will be suspended through the high school baseball season.
- When high school baseball wraps up (usually the end of May for Freshmen and JV players/beginning of June for Varsity)
- Middle School Athletes 14 years old and over AND Freshmen who do not make a high school team are eligible to join our non-high school baseball teams.
- Teams will play April - June.
- Players on non-high school can expect their season to wrap before the start of the AAU season. Non-high school does NOT interfere with the CT Edge Travel teams 14u-18u which start after the high school season is over.
- League selection for each team is determined by Coach Goose and Coach Dennis based on team makeup and goals.
- All teams will be entered in 2 tournaments for the Spring season.
- Tournament only or Scout teams will be registered for programs that will provide maximum exposure to college coaches and scouts.
- Tuition includes a game uniform, baseball hat, batting helmet, practice shirt, and baseball gear bag.
- Additional clothing is available for purchase through the CT Edge Pro-Shop or online.
- CT Edge offers specialized weeknight clinics focusing on catching, fielding, pitching, and hitting.
- CT Edge players and non-players are welcome to register for these clinics at an additional cost. Clinics are not included in tuition.
- Private lessons are available to all CT Edge and non-Edge players. Payment is due at the time of the lesson in the form of cash, check, credit card.
